Cave Story

I’ve recently rediscovered by love for platform gaming.

Here’s a little jewel called Cave Story.  I reminds me of Mario and Bomberman and  Metroid(even though I’ve never really played that). Your basic side-scrolling adventure with a lot ( and I mean, A LOT) of hidden stuff.

EDIT : Indie games are a lot of fun. You don’t really need to worry about system requirements, or whether their worth the money. Here’s a good long list of the best of them that I just found.

LInks

I’m reasonably certain I’ve finished my Maths Portfolio. This has been a tough week. Nothing, when compared to Black Comedy/EE/TOK March Holiday of Horror, though.

Sam has been doing some serious linking. Time to follow suite.

If you’ve got time to kill, why not try to Kill Yourself in Under Five Minutes.

Also, check out the End of the World, and A Page full of Lies.

The future is in Flash, my friends.

Not to mention the Easter Bunny Conspiracy.

The Easter Bunny Hates you, kids!

 Everyone loves Charlie Chaplin!

Three Panel Soul - Another Webcomic worth linking, for the art alone.

Akira - Full Movie!/1!! 1

Also, somewhere on this page, there is a set of Civil War Parody links. Good stuff. For those of you who don’t know what the Civil War is, it doesn’t matter. Read it anyway, its pretty good stuff all around.

Funny

I think this is very good. Click on it. Now. Watch it. Then read the next paragraph.

Penn and Teller showed me how cheap televised magic really is. It insults your intelligence as a viewer. Those guys at Human Giant, they have the right idea. Very funny.

Jabberwacky

Macroeconomics is complex and fun. Take the Laffer curve for instance. From what I gather, the man is saying that decreasing taxes would lead to the government getting more taxes.  The strange thing is that it makes a lot of sense. What a laff.

Putting the Lame puns aside now.

I had an interesting conversation with this  fellow. Apparently they managed to program him with enough obscure net referrences to pass as an actual netizen.Fantastikal!
