Shallow and Empty
I am disturbed by how empty my Student Achievement Form looks like. It is a painful reminder of how shallow and empty my life really is – something like a Jacuzzi for leprechauns. I think that they probably use a tactic similar to this in prison camps. You get in , get beaten up by the guards, are starved for three days, kept in a little box and are forced to fill out a form about your life achievements in the past year. Hmm.. That sounds funnier in my head.
Oh well, there’s always recreational substance abuse.

Went to see the new 5.14ers today. Interesting experience. I wonder if we’re the only class to do it.

Jordan’s Three-Stage Action Plan for Recruitment and Orientation ended yesterday. It was quite a success. The year 5s are now sufficiently orientated and will seamless merge with the rest of the Club. These are exciting time. Lots of talent. I can’t wait to see what they do next year.
Bedroom Farce
Went to see JX’s play today. Good stuff. Its a play called Bedroom Farce, written byAlan Ayckbourn. They did a real amazing job of putting it together – considering they’ve only been working on in for a month.
The actors acted brilliantly- except for some minor issues – which, again is pretty amazing considering the time frame. I don’t really know any of the actors, but I’ll give a shout-out to Ashvin and JX for jobs well done.
The set was pretty professional – and except for some technical difficuties with the lights (MR!) – It was all in all a pretty damn good show. Great job guys! We in ACSIS have a lot of work to do before we can get up to that standard.
The Bells! The Bells!
Drama auditions are finished. Lots of talented people around, these days.
My boxed internet shtick is evolving.Today i wandered around with a bell. Its interesting to watch how people react. Some people ring it, some people just ignore me, and some people actively back away. Some even were so entranced by the contraption that they followed me for some time. Needless to say, I was quite amused. Mission Status : Success!
Shivana advised me to keep the bell with me whenever I venture out to forage. Plunk it on the counter and ring it, then pocket it again when the service stall appear. Intriguing.
*plot twist*
Filling out that pc form today that documented my activities left me strangely disturbed. I never seem to have time, but I don’t do shit. Where did my time go last year?
In other news, the Prata stall has succeeded in cornering the SAC food market. I smell a strike in the near future.
Nigga Benefits
These days Sec 1s scare me. I mean I don’t remember being so weird when I was in sec 1. There are some eerie characters running around this year. Or maybe that was like that always and I just was unobservant.
When I was in sec 1, you called your seniors ’sir’ – because they wore long pants and might just be in charge of your UYO. Plus they were tall and had facial hair , a sure sign of wisdom. I thought sec 1s would fear us IB people more because we were even older, had more facial hair, and wore special ties. I am mistaken. Fortunately, I am a nigger and am feared and respected by the youths of the world. This is one of the benefits of being a nigger. Another benefit not having to worry about sunburn and being able to use the word ‘muthafucka’ and its variants as as a noun, verb and adjective. Sometimes all at the same time.
*plot twist*
Drama weekly workshop today. Since it’s the sort of thing some people actually pay for, I’m pretty pleased we can get it for free.
I realized that everyday of my week is taken up by drama-related occurrences. Heh.
While waiting for drama to start we were amused by a large group of secondary Year Ones who were apparently auditioning for Chamber. There’s something whimsical and vaguely creepy about a shitload of musicians lurking darkly lit corridors playing Mozart – it reminds of a street performer revolt. Ken Tay commented that they looked like the average overachieving abused kids of today – locked up and forced to fiddle away like… crickets.
Also, I’m officially confused about the new SL1-SL2 system. Somehow, I’ve ended up with maths and Malay at the same time, with my SL1 periods free. Now, this would’nt be a bad thing, but somehow I know I’m going to get blamed for this. Perhaps for being a minority.
